Another beautiful game by Hexage. Fun, unique, and intriguing gameplay, beautiful graphics and sound design, and a decent story to follow it up. Controls are challenging at times, I feel like sometimes they don't react as expected, but I don't think they're worth the overly negative reviews. There are also some visuals you get can stuck on, that are very hard to see. This (as well as several of their other games I've played) probably are best with a controller.

I used to love this game, but then they went and massacred the control scheme. I personally think the old controls of perpetual motion and swiping to change directions was really fun and added some level of challenge to the game. Also, why doesn't the character stop to swing anymore? Before, the attack gave you like a second to think and move, now it just doesn't. tldr: please please add an option for the old controls in settings 🙏

Overall a fun game that I absolutely enjoyed, great story line, fun gameplay, tedious battles. However there is room for improvement. For example spawn protection needs to be longer and spawn zones shouldn't be camped by npcs. The controls feel a little janky but aren't too bad that it is unplayable. And some of the pacing is way off in fights, i've honestly asked myself in several encounters, "is this really happening right now?". But overall a worthwhile experience, 7/10.
